From 1973 until 1989, Mr. Cooper held several executive and legal positions at Flowers Industries, Inc., a Fortune 500 Company listed on the New York stock Exchange. Mr. Cooper served as President and Vice Chairman of the Board, Executive Vice President, and General Counsel, and during his association with Flowers, the company grew from approximately $50 million in sales to $1 billion. From 1989 to 1996, Mr. Cooper was Of Counsel to Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue, the nation’s second largest law firm. Mr. Cooper serves on the Board of Directors of Logility, Inc. and is on the Board of Trustees of the University of Georgia Foundation and on the Boards of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and the Williams Foundation. He is on the Board of Advisors of the Business School at Washington & Lee University.
