Erik Vonk served as Chief Executive Officer of Gevity HR Inc., from April 8, 2002 to October 19, 2007. Mr. Vonk has led Gevity's successful transformation from a Professional Employer Organization into a leader in the HR outsourcing industry.

Following a successful career in banking and corporate finance in the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East, he established and built the North American operations for Randstad, one of Europe's largest staffing companies. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Randstad North America, a subsidiary of Randstad Holding NV from 1992 to 2001 and was responsible for organizing the North American operations.

In addition, Mr. Vonk served as a Member of the Executive Board of Bank Cantrade AG from 1989 to 1992. He held senior management positions at Chase Manhattan Bank and ABN-AMRO Bank. He also has extensive experience in the banking industry. He served as Chairman of Gevity HR Inc. from April 8, 2002 to October 19, 2007. Mr. Vonk has been a Non-Executive Director of Danka Business Systems PLC since February 10, 2004. He has been an Independent Director of CBRL Group Inc., since August 16, 2005. He has been a Director of Gevity HR Inc., since April 8, 2004. He holds board membership positions with the Carter Center, Goizueta Business School at Emory University, and the Roosevelt Institute in Warm Springs. In addition, Mr. Vonk serves as Honorary Counsel of the Netherlands for Georgia and South Carolina and is the author of "Don't Get a Job, Get a Life", a book about flexible employment and work/life balance.
